Fawn and Amber

As you can tell I love my dog. I mean why shouldn't I, she listens to my endless rambling, doesn't pick on me for my mistakes-at least I don't know she does, and overall she is a good dog. I wouldn't trade her for any other dog in the world. Of course, most animal lovers feel the way I do. Amber has traveled up and down the east coast with me (we've been to North Carolina, Kentucky, and even New York to face the snowy weather).
I have always loved animals since I was a little kid. I was lucky enough to grow up in the country-although there wasn't much to do. As a kid we as had a dog-most were purebred. I never remember having the pleasure of owning a dog that loved you and tried to please you like Amber does. Sometimes, I think it is because she is so thankful for being saved from being put to death. Very few dogs make it out of animal shelters alive and even fewer who are sick or old. Picking the right dog is an important thing to do-it is a lifetime decision. Don't discount an animal because they are old, sick, ugly, or not purebred because its not the outside that counts but the inside that makes a dog.
I hope you have enjoyed my cool dog page. In the future, I am hoping that Amber will grace me with chance to make more cool dog photos. If you liked my page, please spread the word and pass your comments on to me through the grapevine.
