Pets
I currently have 3 dogs and a guinea pig. You could say I really like having animals around.
Happy
Happy, my oldest, is a spaniel mix. She was adopted from a local rescue group called the ARK. She loves to lay around and watch the scenery. Occasionally she'll get up and run around for a bit but for the most part she's lazy. Her favorite time of the day is breakfast time. I am not allowed to sleep past 6:00am without feeding her. She is my alarm clock.
Lizzy, CGC
Elizabeth is a boxer-mix that I adopted from the Fayetteville, TN animal shelter. She is always full of energy and loves to run a play. She thinks that she is the boss of the house and dares anyone to think differently. She loves to go for walks and jogs around the neighborhood. She holds a Canine Good Citizens title.
More pictures of Lizzy can be found here.
Sugar
Sugar is a hound mix that I originally intended to foster. However, she became very ill and after spending a lot of money to get her well, I decided to keep her. (More on that story here)
Being a hound, Sugar has a strong prey drive. If it is small and furry, she'll chase it. I've even seen her and Lizzy, route field mice out of a brush pile just to try to catch them.
Curly
Curly is a texel guinea pig. The texels are known for the curls in their hair. I've had him since he was a couple of weeks old. My parents refer to him as the "devil pig" because of his red eyes. He is actually very nice. He will stand up and let you pet him - especially if you have a carrot.
